ANNUAL FESTIVALS
The major annual festivals of the temple are Prathishta day on Avittom day of Meenam, Vinayaka Chaturthi and Mandala kala sahasra nama japom.
The Tantric rituals for Prathishta day and Vinayaka Chaturthi festivals include Acharya varanam, Maha Ganapathy homam on Vinayaka Chaturthi day (using 108 coconuts), Rudra japam, Dhara, Navakabhishekam and Kalabhabhishekam and on the Vinayaka Chaturthi night, decorated Ulsavamoorthy would be taken round the colony to the accompaniment of nagaswaram and bhajan.
ASHTABANDHA KALASOM
Ever since the “Punaprathishta” on 18-03-1985, we have so far conducted Ashta bandha kalasom on 25-6-1998, 7-5-2008 and the third one on 25-4-2021, after the renovation work.
